Financial Sales Representative
Compensation: $52k annually + commission
A multi-media publisher is seeking a Financial Sales Representative to sell investment products to our current database of business partners and customers. The Financial Sales Representative will also be responsible with acquiring new clients for all relevant financial products.
The successful candidate will identify prospective investors, present our portfolio of products that may include private equity, fixed income and syndicated investment vehicles. This position provides high earning potential for candidates looking to build a career in a rapidly growing industry. We are looking for a self-starter who can identify potentially qualified investors, manage the proposal process and presentations, and close both medium and large buyers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify, present, package and close qualified investors
Continually build and grow a book of clients from existing and new databases
Qualify current leads and new prospects for product offerings
Utilize company CRM tool to track all sales activities and communications
Manage and maintain sales reports, pipelines and forecasts
2+ years’ experience in a financials-related position required
Strong knowledge of client development
Proven ability and desire to interface with clients both remotely and face-to-face to provide timely, consistent and accurate support and account management
Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously
Strong analytical skills
Ability to proactively influence and work with high profile clients independently and within a team environment.
Insatiable desire to learn and ability to adapt to changing routines and software
Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
Strong organizational and time management skills.
