Project Coordinator
Compensation: $80k - $105k Annually; Negotiable DOE

Job Description:
The role of the Project Coordinator is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, phase of the statement of work, etc.. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and staff in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and customers
Develop full scale project plans and associated communications documents
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion
Liaise with project customers on an ongoing basis
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Draft and submit statement of work and or change requests, and recommend subsequent cost changes where necessary
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Track project milestones and deliverables
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation and presentations
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
Requirements:
5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Certifications in Project Management an asset, but not required.
Must be familiar with web technologies utility PHP, Java, HTML, XML, and SQL
Database and operating systems experience with Sybase, Linux and Windows
Competent and proficient understanding of Web 2.0 technologies
Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Flexible during times of change.
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
5 plus years of managing B2B and B2C projects and working directly with Product Owners with a minimum of 5 years working in the Travel Industry, Cruise, Hotel, Air, Rental Car or combination of any.
Minimum 5 years managing projects with these resource types: Front End (HTML), PHP, Java, DBA, Content Management, QA Analyst, and Business Analyst.
Minimum 5 years writing Statement of Works, and Change Request.
Minimum 5 years managing multiple projects concurrently
Minimum 3 years Agile Project Management and Scrum Master, where they have managed Scrum projects that have Monthly release cycles. Prefer CSM
Minimum of 3 years where some of the key scrum team members have been shared resources and not 100% dedicated to a single scrum team.
Minimum of 3 years where they have realized requirements from inception to User Story formats.
Minimum of 3 years creating quarterly release plans using Scrum as the SDLC methodology.
Minimum 3 years reporting Sprint progress with Sprint burn-down charts and Velocity reports
Have previous experience delivering SAAS (software as a solution) products
Have previous experience servicing clients which are located globally, both in North America and International. We have clients all over the world, not just in the U.S.
Minimum 3 years using some type of Agile tool such as TFS, Rally, Jira Agile and/or Version One.
Nice to have – experience with Perforce source code management tool
Highly preferable - managed at least one project for a mobile application or mobile optimized website for smartphones and tablets.
Highly preferable – managed at least one project using responsive design.
Able to report earned value of a project, without using MS-Project or Clarity. Must be able to create a report using excel for earned value of a project using JIRA Agile and Jira Tempo tools for your data sources.
