Sr. PHP Developer
Compensation: $75k - $90k; Negotiable DOE

Job Description:
Seeking a Sr. PHP Developer to handle multiple tasks and balance a workload based on priority assignments. The work environment is highly dynamic and fast paced. New hires will have to be proactive, self-directed and possess strong self-motivation to deliver results.
Responsibilities:
Use and contribute to our custom framework built on SOLID principles
Be able to work with the most recent version of PHP – We run PHP 7 with an upgrade path for PHP 7.1
Work in an Agile environment and practice Scrum/Kanban. Team members are encouraged and expected to participate, make implementation decisions and collaborate.
Document code development and revisions
Requirements:
5+ years experience in object oriented analysis and design skills
5+ years experience with transactional SQL queries and stored procedures
Knowledge of the interaction between front-end Javascript and back-end PHP
Experience with Redis, memcached
Experience with clean code and minimizing state management in code
Experience with revision control systems
Must be able to work legally in the United States
Qualifications:
Previous experience in programming, software development, or other related fields
Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
A representative sample of your PHP skills using either a side project, open source contributions or a small sample application (requirements provided)
